Behavioural Consultation
Sometimes, we are just at a loss with our dogs, and need some expert advice from a professional. These sessions will take place from the comfort of your own home and cover an in depth analysis of what's going on in your dogs head. We will look at everything from the home routine, your lifestyle and where the problems are coming from as well as a focused plan on how to move forward and reimplement harmony in the home. These sessions can suit any dog and can be just as effective if not more than a residential course, as you get to leave with a full, in-depth understanding of what's going on in your dogs head. £225 per half day 10:30 - 13:30

During your bespoke one to one training package, you can make the most of our expert coaching, allowing you to enhance your dog handling skills and begin to apply proven dog training techniques in a safe, fun and positive environment. Each of these sessions is tailored individually to what your dog needs and what you are trying to achieve. We understand that everybody is different, (including every dog) and that all ideals will vary. This is something we consider strongly when producing a program for you and your dog to follow, allowing you to develop and strengthen both your bond and understanding of your individual dog. You will learn about what triggers and motivates your dog, as well as how to handle that in order to prevent unwanted behaviour and mould new positive behaviours instead.
Unfortunately, many of these unwanted behaviours are well instilled and can often be a challenge to undo once they have become ingrained. Drawing from the expert advice provided at Guildford Dog Training you can begin to replace these negative habits with more positive and fullfilling ones which are beneficial to both you and your dog, helping you to create peace and harmony in your life.
These bespoke training packages will take place initially in the beautiful countryside just outside of Guildford, progressing on to take advantage of the local parks and towns, allowing you to practice these new found techniques and dog handling skills out and about in real life environments.

Puppy Packages
Puppy training
Puppy training is by far the most important stage of training that your dog can go through. During this time, puppies are like a sponge, absorbing everything that goes on in their environment and setting the precedent for their future. With the correct guidance, you can mould your puppy into the ideal adult dog, with all the desireable, positive behaviours included.
Without proper guidance, your fuzzy bundle of joy can become a nuisance and destructive in no time at all.
Our puppy packages include everything from chewing and toilet training, all the way to basic commands and good manners. Unlike many other companies, we like to take an individual approach with pups and provide that much needed individual attention right from the get go. Unlike traditional "puppy classes" that will take a group of puppies and teach them all at the same time, we will cater to you and your puppy as an individual. Doing it this way, we are able to take into account all of the influencing factors such as breed, age, breeding quality and much much more, which is often missed out with group classes. Furthermore, you can learn alongside your puppy, and draw from our expert guidance and mentoring, in order to give your puppy the best start for their future and prepare yourself for that troublesome adolescence age where many other owners will start to loose control.

Intensive Courses
Imagine being able to sit back and relax, knowing that someone else is taking care of the hard work for you. You can enjoy some time off, even take a holiday, all while knowing our specialist team here at Guildford Dog Training are taking care of the work to re-train your dog.

You can use this time however you like. Whether you are already away and just need someone to keep your dog entertained, or whether you are looking to combat dog reactivity. We can cover it all. Everything from basic obedience to complex behavioural issues are a suitable task for the residential courses.

Your dog will sleep in our fully lisenced kennels, while getting to get out and train throughout the whole day. They will spend plenty of time both relaxing and training in my company, and learning to socialise alongside my own personal dogs. All legal breeds are welcome here. Most of the work completed with your dog will take place in real life, busy areas. This means that your dog is learning some real, true life skills, as opposed to typical back yard training. At the end of their holiday, you will recieve your very own personalised training lesson, giving your dog the chance to show off, and allowing me to teach you the skills required to maintain and develop the training with your dog. Included with this, is an additional 121 post-training session to ensure you stay on the right track.
